When we surrender being needed, we open ourselves to joy
Many of us unknowingly have fallen into the role of being a people’s pleaser. Adopted early on in our childhood we found that when we behaved in a certain way we would gain approval and this became engrained into our nature .
As we grew up we discovered that what was called love was actually a temperamental thing . Human love has a Capricious nature , offered as a reward for obedience and withheld as a sign of disapproval. This became woven into our subconscious and we recognized that this could not be trusted .
In adulthood some of us have found that in relationships,Need is a much stronger glue . So we developed ways of fulfilling the needs of others in return for what was worded as love yet was in actuality gratitude for an action. Thus we assume a life that is about fulfilling the desires and needs of others as a way to feel loved .
As I have shared , Love is the absence of conditions. So in that context it is not a consequence of actions but an expression of our true nature . When we love we are actually removing all agendas and discover that loving all that is outside of us is evolving our ability to love all parts of ourselves.
If you are recognizing yourself in this pattern then it is time to surrender you addiction to being needed . To stop making the focus of your actions the approval of others and create space your lives , for in that space a new opportunity arises . You are Love and the experience of expressing what you are is called Joy !..
So today be lead by what brings you joy and give graciously from a place of true heart expression as you are guided to a more joyous Life .
