Allow the future to be an Exciting mystery of adventure
A lot of modern day advice is to specifically focus on what you want and use affirmations and visualizations to manifest this. However, although I recommend and use these techniques myself, one of the important things to remember is to loosen your control enough to allow for the unexpected to enter without restriction.
If we hold too tightly to the reigns in any situation in our life then we limited the possibilities that are available to us . We presume we know best how something should work out to serve us, yet we then miss the opportunities that could serve us better .
If we are willing to let go of the future as a concrete concept and instead see it as as a mystery we open ourselves up to the adventure of life. So instead of being restrictive and nervous when things play out differently than expected we optimistically wonder how life is going to bring about unexpected and exciting new experiences on our path.
