WHEN WE
RELEASE OUR RESPONSIBILITIES
TO OTHERS
We CAN SERVE
THEM BETTER
If we are in a position of responsibility for others , wether it be children or employees , we often seek to be overly concerned with the outcomes for them. We take their experiences personally . Celebrating their successes as ours and more impactful, their failures as a reflection on our own shortcomings.
This can be quite subconscious, and dictates how we behave. For in order for us to see ourselves as a successful parent , employer, teacher etc we often can become rigid . We seek to control the outcome and so become controlling in our need to seek success and avoid failure . Yet this limits those we are responsible with the weight of expectation that can cause resistance and rebellion.
In order for us to serve them the best we should release this restrictive behavior . Recognize the dominant ideals that are behind this role of responsibility and create and more open invitation for them to thrive in .
In order for everyone to truly learn they need to be free to experiment and make 'mistakes' for this seeming failures are actually opportunities to make new and exciting discoveries.
So when we release our inherited responsibilities and instead take on the role of guidance and support we will truly be of service , creating a loving, nurturing space of innovation and evolution .
What self judgement can you drop so you serve others from love??
